TMUN25, Tanglin Trust School’s Model United Nations Conference, will bring together over four hundred students between the ages of 11 and 18 from schools across Singapore and abroad to debate the most pressing issues of the century to come. The theme of our Conference will be “A World Polarised”, which invites us to reflect on this growing divide- whether it be between the Global North and Global South, libertarianism and socialism, or religious and secular societies. At its core, it challenges us to confront the dangers of oversimplification, where nuanced perspectives are lost to black-and-white narratives.
