Hi everyone! My name is Thea Guliani, and I’m thrilled to be your Deputy Chair in UN Women! I’m currently a Grade 12 student at UWC Dover, and have been involved in MUN since Grade 7. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of delegating and chairing in over 8 conferences, ranging from the UNHRC to the US Senate. MUN has shaped the way I view global issues, teaching me to approach debate with empathy and a commitment to collaboration. This committee has the chance to create meaningful solutions in a world that still faces many issues in gender equality. I hope to create a space where every delegate feels willing and excited to contribute and challenge themselves, and I look forward to meeting you all at TMUN!

Hi everyone! My name is Myrah and I’m incredibly excited to be your Head Chair in UN Women! I’m currently a Year 11 student studying for her GCSE’s at Tanglin Trust School, and have had the privilege of delegating, judging and chairing in over 10 conferences. In the world we live in today, where feminist ideals are being misinterpreted, reproductive rights are being stripped and liberal feminism is failing the women it was made to empower, it is key that this committee create detailed solutions and engage in multidimensional debate. I, as chair, hope to aid in making this conference enriching for all delegates, and I look forward to seeing you all at TMUN!

Hi everyone! I’m Charmaine, your Deputy Chair for UN Women at TMUN. I’m a Year 11 student at Tanglin Trust School, currently deep in IGCSE prep, and I’ve taken part in over 10 MUN conferences, but this time I’m finally trading in my placard for a gavel.
UN Women’s role on the global stage has never been more crucial. From safeguarding reproductive rights to advancing gender equality and intersectional feminism, the issues we’ll be debating are as complex as they are urgent. MUN has taught me so much about diplomacy, leadership, and collaboration, and whether this is your first conference or you’re a seasoned MUNer, I’m excited to support you all in developing your skills and making this conference an unforgettable experience.
If you have any questions or need guidance before or during the conference, don’t hesitate to reach out. Looking forward to seeing you all at TMUN!
