Hello, my name is Veda and I am a 17 year old studying at Overseas Family School. I started my MUN journey several years ago, and have always enjoyed meeting and connecting with students from different schools. While this will be my first time chairing at an external conference, I’m grateful for the opportunity. I’ve gained lots of experience and a solid understanding of MUN through behind-the-scenes work at my school’s conferences. I look forward to serving as a deputy chair of the Special Political and Decolonisation Committee, getting to meet delegates, and a productive debate.

Hi, my name is Joshua Oh, and I am in the 12th grade at International Community School. Having started in grade 9, this will be my fourth year in my MUN journey, and I am very excited for the upcoming conference since it will be my first time participating in TMUN. Communication and collaboration are always the keys to successful resolution, and the SPECPOL committee, involving many nations connected with complex geopolitical relationships, will require more of them than any other committee. I look forward to the participation of every delegate. Thank you!
Hi everyone! My name is Esha, and I am honoured to be chair of CENTMUN this year. I’m currently 14 years old, and I am studying at UWC (east). Since I joined MUN in grade 6, it quickly became a pivotal part of my life; attending around ten conferences and even training primary schoolers has allowed me to grow in ways I could never have imagined. The fruitful debate, construction, modification of resolutions, and collaboration allowed MUN to become an educational but enjoyable environment. Additionally, there is no doubt that SPECPOL as a committee will be able to provide all of this, especially in a world such as ours where there are issues regarding refugees, statelessness and separatist movements appearing on the daily. Once again, I’m honoured to be your deputy chair of SPECPOL and look forward to seeing you all soon!
Hey everyone, my name is Melody; I’m 17 and currently a junior at UWCSEA (East). I’ve been doing MUN since middle school and love it. Being an admin and delegate, and finally chairing conferences, has allowed me to learn different skill sets and abilities. What once was an intolerable environment, MUN’s fast-paced, chaotic, yet fruitful debates have become a safe place to let my competitive side come through. I’ve grown as a person during the multiple conferences I’ve done, and I hope others can do so as well. I’m so excited and honoured to be the head chair of SPECPOL, and I look forward to seeing you all this November.
Hello, my name is Shaurya, and I’m 14 and currently studying at the United World College of South East Asia (East Campus). My participation in MUN has allowed me to attend 11 conferences, explore committees and work with other delegates to make decisive and constructive resolutions. I am most enthusiastic about the Special Political and Decolonisation Committee for its role in global security, the protection of national integrity, and the safety of the world’s population. The complex issues present interesting dilemmas between national security and human rights to delegates, challenging them to choose or compromise and collaborating to ensure satisfying solutions. That being said, I am honoured to be the Deputy Chair of the Special Political and Decolonisation Committee at CENTMUN. I look forward to meeting all of you in November!
