Hello, I’m Anahita Ghosh Singh and I’m a 15-year old student in UWCSEA Dover. MUN has been an incredibly important aspect of my life in recent years and I’ve been privileged enough to attend approximately 6 conferences, with varying committees allowing me to gain insight into many global issues of the past and present. The climate crisis is a major issue of our lifetime and I am of the belief that the future of our earth lies in the hands of the youth. From melting ice, deforestation and harm to wildlife, I believe each issue holds significant importance in allowing our earth to be a habitable place. I am excited to see delegates collaborate, debate and advocate for the beliefs of their nations in order to arrive at a consensus on the three topics. I wish each and every delegate good luck and hope for a fruitful debate!

Hi! I’m Arin Jain, a 14-year-old student in Grade 10 at Overseas Family School. MUN has been a big part of my journey over the past few years—helping me grow as a speaker, thinker, and collaborator across more than a dozen conferences. While I’ve explored a range of topics, I’ve always found environmental debates especially compelling. With the climate crisis becoming more urgent by the year, I believe it’s crucial for young people like us to understand the complexities behind sustainability, equity, and international action. I’m excited to serve as a Head Chair this November and hope to help create a space where every delegate feels confident to speak up, think boldly, and challenge assumptions. Looking forward to meeting all of you and making this committee something to remember!

Hello, my name is Agasthya, and I’m a 14-year-old currently studying at Tanglin Trust School. Over my time in MUN, I’ve had the chance to participate in a range of conferences and committees, learning how impactful collaboration and diplomacy can be in tackling global challenges. The United Nations Environment Programme holds a special place for me, as its mission to address poaching and wildlife trafficking, arctic resource preservation, and the Amazon’s conservation feels more urgent than ever in our rapidly changing world. I am honoured to serve as the Deputy Chair of UNEP this year, and I look forward to engaging in insightful debates and innovative solutions with all of you this November.
