Hello, I'm Bhavya, a 15 year old studying at UWCSEA Dover. Being involved in MUN has allowed me to participate in many conferences, engage with different committees, and work with others to develop thorough resolutions. The World Health Organisation has been a strong pillar of the UN since 1948, after Covid-19 and now in 2025, with war bound and low-income countries needing access to medicine, the WHO is more important than ever. I am excited to take on the role of Deputy Chair of the World Health Organisation Committee, and I look forward to meeting with you this November.

Hello! I’m Nandini and am currently studying at Tanglin Trust School. Having participated in over 20 MUN conferences as a delegate, chair or in a position in specialised committees, I have had the opportunity to explore a wide range of roles. I believe the WHO plays a vital role in shaping global health systems and tackling health crises that affect us all. The issue of misinformation, especially surrounding health in the digital age became pertinent during the COVID-19 pandemic; rapid digital spread and eroding trust in our scientific and public institutions have created uncertainty around whom and what to trust in the digital age with our health information. As a chair, I’m committed to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment where delegates can thrive, grow in confidence and engage meaningfully with the issues at hand. I look forward to serving as your Head Chair, and can’t wait to meet you all later this year.

Hello! My name is Faith, and I am currently in 12th grade studying at the German European School Singapore. My first conference committee was the World Health Organisation (WHO), and it feels I have come full circle, now having the privilege of chairing this committee. In our post-pandemic world where global health threats have reached a level where they are a clear and present danger, WHO’s leadership is crucial in coordinating international surveillance and mobilising rapid emergency responses. I look forward to serving as your Deputy Chair of the WHO committee and facilitating the delegates' fruitful and productive debate throughout the conference!
